It is tradition in our house to take an annual Fall colors picture of Gabby. Each year, we venture out to find the perfect place to snap the photo. It's always such a good time! On Saturday, Gabs and I headed to the Bedford Reservation to find a spot. We took several pictures including these......

ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO THE WORLD SERIES

FIREWORKS ERUPT AND THE TEAM RUSHES THE FIELD AS THE TRIBE BEATS BOSTON 7-3 TUESDAY NIGHT AT THE JAKE....GAME 5 IS THURSDAY NIGHT AT 8:21PM...
AFTER A SLOW START, THE CROWD GOT INTO THE GAME WHEN THE TRIBE EXPLODED FOR 7 RUNS IN THE FIFTH INNING. I WAS A TAD CRITICAL OF THE FANS ON THE AIR THIS MORNING AND TOOK A LIL HEAT FOR IT. I WAS FRUSTRATD SEEING A HALF EMPTY STADIUM ALL SUMMER. I ALSO THOUGHT THE FANS WERE SLOW TO GET GOING IN LAST NIGHT'S GAME. MY POINT IS THAT IN NEW YORK, BOSTON, ST.LOUIS AND OTHER STRONG BASEBALL CITIES, THE FANS ARE ON THEIR FEET FOR MUCH OF A PLAY-OFF GAME. OUR FANS SEEM TO SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN...
BEFORE THE GAME, I HUNG OUT AT FLANNERY'S WITH CLAIRE, ANDREA, MARY AND KEVIN.

THESE PLAY-OFFS HAVE BEEN A BLAST SO FAR. HOW EXCITING TO FIRST KNOCK OFF THE YANKEES AND NOW HAVE THE RED SOX ON THE BRINK OF ELIMINATION. THIS INDIAN TEAM HAS BEEN UNDER-RATED ALL SEASON. THEY REALLY ARE THAT GOOD....I'M CONVINCED THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM LEFT IN THE PLAY-OFFS.

HERE'S TO WINNING THE AMERICAN LEAGUE PENNANT AT HOME TOMORROW NIGHT.... IT REALLY IS TRIBE TIME NOW!

....PLAY-OFF baseball....it doesn't get any more exciting. The two games so far at THE JAKE have been sooooo awesome. It feels like the mid-90s all over again. It's so awesome high fivin' strangers and seeing this city come alive. These are exciting times that we will talk about for years to come. Breathe in this season. The triple play, KENNY LOFTON's return, THE BUGS....something is in the air....

SOCCER SATURDAY.....

What an awesome day for soccer! It was a gorgeous morning for our games on Saturday. Gabby scored a couple of goals and had a smile on her face most of the morning. What a great day!
