MARC BROUSSARD

MARC BROUSSARD is one of the best artists you may have never heard of. I went to his show Wednesday night at The House of Blues. It's the third time I have seen him and I highly recommend that you get to know him and his music. At age 25, he is way beyond his years. His voice and passion are so powerful. He is the real deal and will be around for a long time. He is a heartbeat away from becomming a household name.

The LIVE show at Eastlake Tuesday night was awesome! I'm a huge fan of the band and love seein' them perform live. Their music is so powerful to me. So many of their songs have touched my life in many ways. At Tuesday night's show, "STOOD UP FOR LOVE" was by far my favorite song. I was hoping to hear "DANCE WITH YOU"..that song has such awesome deep meaning in my world. The band is all about passion and connection-the keys to life. I don't mean to make it sound like so much more than a show...BUT for me, LIVE is so much more than that. They always seem to come into the area when I need to see them. They just announced another Cleveland show at HOB at the end of August!

FANCY RICH GUY SEATS AT THE JAKE....

On Monday night, I had the chance to hang in the CONTINENTAL AIRLINES suite at The Jake. This is the suite directly connected to the visiting team's dugout. It was an awesome experience and a great way to see a baseball game...too bad we lost 6-2.
This is the view from our seats. This is Manny bein' Manny in the on-deck-circle.
There is glass seperating our suite from the RED SOX dugout. I was literally sitting in my seat when I snapped this pic.
CHANNEL 5 sports stud ANDY BASKIN was in the suite along with former BROWNS player REGGIE LANGHORN, local music legend DAVID SPERO and CONTINENTAL 's CHARLENE NOVAK.

BOWLING FOR SOUP

BOWLING FOR SOUP played a Q104 Listener Appreciation show on Sunday afternoon at DAVE and BUSTERs.....
Q104 night guy ROB KRUZE and I hosted the show. Before the crowd came on stage, ROB and I answered questions about Q104. We had a great crowd who asked anything from how to win tix to concerts to if ROB was single. To the best of my knowledge, ROB has been dating his hair for about six months.

THE NORDONIA HILLS SOCCER ASSOCIATION

My daughter GABBY models our new soccer league uniform

This summer, my friend TOM SEASHOLTZ and I have been forming the NORDONIA HILLS SOCCER ASSOCIATION. NHSA is a soccer league for kids ages 4-10. It serves the Northfield, Macidonia, Northfiled Center and Sagamore Hills communities. We have been so excited about this league and the positive early response. For more on the league, check out our website by clicking here.

KIDS IN FLIGHT

FOX SPORTS NET's STEVE POLOWSKI and I were hangin' at the KIDS IN FLIGHT event Saturday at Burke Lakefront Airport. The event enables kids who are battling serious illness to put on their "wings of wonder" and fly in small airplanes around the city. The KIDS IN FLIGHT program was started by MARIA WEYBRECHT. For more on this amazing group, check out their website at www.kidsinflight.org

I had a chance to host an event with the HOT MAMAS at FERRANTE'S WINERY in Geneva on Sunday. The HOT MAMAS are walking in the BREAST CANCER 3-Day next month. Here I am hangin' with CHEEX and FLASH from the team...along with a glass of wine....

MISSED IT BY THAT MUCH....

It has long been a goal of mine to get a hole-in-one. It is near the top of my LIFE LIST. Yesterday at FIRESTONE COUNTRY CLUB, I played in a golf outing where I almost pulled it off. In fact, I hit an 8-iron this close to the pin. As the ball dropped toward the flag, I thought I had it. Oh, by the way...had this ball been a couple of inches to the right, I would have won a brand new BMW!!! Ugh.......

My favorite band LIVE played PNC PARK in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night. "Lethargic" Mark" and I went to the game and the concert after. The band played for a little over an hour. It's a tough venue to see your favorite band at a baseball field...but I enjoyed it. I snapped the above pic of Ed Kowalczyk on the jumbo screen at the stadium. I'm excited for their show that is coming to town later this summer!
