Hi Allan,
Just wanted to say congrats on your weight loss and on conquering the scale. Getting on the first time is the hardest part... after that when you start to see progress, it gets easy. You'll see!
btw - I'm with you. I absolutely think guys think about it just as much as women do, especially when you've got something that you perceive to be a real problem (like weight, hair, etc). Unfortunately things like that have a way of coloring the way you see the world no matter how much confidence you have. It's not just kids who are cruel, it's adults too. I've lost more than 100 lbs (but still have a way to go) and as good as I feel about that, I'm still not spared from the rude comments of random strangers. Some people just don't think, and no amount of confidence takes away the sting of a comment like that.
But, hey.... at least I can do something about my problem. Those people will probably never change.
Anyways... congrats on a great start to your weight loss journey.
