A PERSONAL LOOK BACK AT 2007....

When I look back on 2007, it was an amazing year. It was a year filled with life moments, ups, downs and clarity. It was a year filled with great rewards and challenges. It was a year that brought me awesome new friends and recharged old relationships. My 40th year proved to be a year of growth for me personally and professionally. I have learned so much about myself and look forward to carrying that momentum into the new year.

A RANDOM LOOK BACK ON THE YEAR

In 2007......I started a soccer league with my family and close friends....I turned 40...went to The Grammys...celebrated St. Patty's Day in Key West...bought a new car...introduced my daughter to Corbin Bleau from High School Musical...missed a hole-in-one at Firestone by inches...met Eva Longoria...saw my favorite band LIVE in three different venues...went to the NBA Finals.....was at every Tribe play-off game....introduced BARACK OBAMA at his first rally in Cleveland....shaved my head on live TV...

On a personal level, I have enjoyed the mornings when my wife Sue co-hosted for Rebecca. I was very proud of her this summer when she completed her first half marathon. She is an amazing woman who has done many positive things for many people.

My daughter Gabby continues to amaze me every day. She continues to grow into a fine young lady. I am proud to be her dad and have enjoyed a great year with her.

...THE WILDE AND FEE show was nominated as one of the top morning shows in the country (we still need to send them a check : ))...we raised $127,000 for the Cleveland APL...we have helped raise countless thousands of dollars for Q CARES FOR KIDS and the Children's Hospital at The Cleveland Clinic...we even enjoyed our first ever busboard campaign...

It has been a great pleasure to host the show with REBECCA, GLENN, NICK, LETHARGIC MARK, INTERN DINA and the entire crew in the morning. SKIPPY THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR has been a great gift to the show and deserves a great deal of credit in making our show happen. I look forward to returning to the air in January.

From my family at home and my on-air family, have an amazing holiday season! Thank you for all the good times in 2007! Bring on 2008!!!

THE BLIZZARD BOWL OF 2007!!!

My friend Megan and I braved the elements on Sunday for the BROWNS win over Buffalo. It was hard to take a good pic in the brutal cold. When we look back on the season, a lot of people will claim to have been at this game...here is my proof.....
....the grounds crew used snowblowers between plays to mark of the yardage......
....The BROWNIES eventually hung on to win the game 8-0.......
At the start of the seaon, I took a lot of grief for predicting the BROWNS would make the play-offs with a 10-6 record....We are now one win away from achieving both!!!! Don't count the BROWNS out once they do make the play-offs...this team is actually a lot better than it was at the start of the season! I predict at least one play-off win......

THE TUESDAY COLUMN....

My best friend WOODY made a surprise visit to Cleveland from Seattle for my birthday this past week! His visit came at just the right time. It was awesome seeing him.....and just when I thought I had recovered from the parties and good times, along came AQSTIC CHRISTMAS.....

The Q104 AQSTIC CHRISTMAS was a total blast....EMERSON HART, MATT NATHANSON, MARIE DIGBY and WILL BOWEN were awesome! (pictured l to r: Will , me, Rob Kruz and Producer Nick)
MARIE DIGBY stopped by the show Monday morning. She was very cool and a pleasure to meet. She has a great story of building her career on myspace.

SPORTS

Many people thought that my BROWNS playoff prediction was a bit lofty. Many said I was cursing the team....and now, all we have to do is beat Buffalo....The Cavs make the finals, The Tribe have a great season and now the BROWNS are on the edge of the unthinkable....am I really cursing the team?

My daughter Gabby's indoor soccer team won it's second game of the season this past weekend. Gabs scored her 4th goal of the season in the win.

...and finally...a quick shoutout to my friend COREY who flew in from LA this past week. She made it to my 40th birthday.....so awesome seeing her....you may remember her from our show doing reports for The Geauga Humane Society and the APL. She is one of my all time favorite people......

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT THE PARKVIEW

On Sunday, the family enjoyed brunch at The Parkview. A couple of friends joined us on a perfect day to hang out inside. I love places like this. ...they are real and casual. My daughter GABBY snapped this pic and said, "Dad, you should blog this place."

My best friend WOODY flew in from Seattle for a surprise 40th birthday visit on Monday night. He joined my friends MARIO and KEN at the Cavs game Tuesday night at THE Q....LeBron James didn't show up and we lost badly......

FEE FORTY FEST WEEKEND....

To me, a birthday is a celebration of life. It's all about surrounding yourself with good people and havin' a good time. This weekend, I celebrated my 40th at two of my favorite bars; HOTZ CAFE in Tremont and HOOPLES in the Flats....

PRODUCER NICK's band "VITIUM" played my party on Saturday night at HOOPLES in the Flats.......
....Friday night at HOTZ CAFE in Tremont....by the time I blew out the candles, I had no energy to eat the cake....
