NEW Q104 STUDIO ALMOST DONE...
Our new on-air studio is nearing completion. Our Festive Friday show should be live from the brand new main studio...Below, ENGINEER RAY shows us his best side as he puts the finishing touches on our world class facility. In the picture, you see ENGINEER RAY wiring the FLUX CAPICITOR that has enough jigga-watts to broadcast our show from downtown Cleveland to Elyria and some parts of Amish country. Ray is a talented broadcaster who has never crossed his streams. As we snapped the bloggable pic of Ray, he said, "I'm only doing this so you guys don't call me early in the morning to keep fixing things!" It's safe to say that we love ENGINEER RAY more than he loves us. BELOW is a great, uh, action shot of Lethargic Mark, me and Intern Mike "working" on the studio. Our years of broadcast training have enabled us to assist the engineers in this very complex work. The engineers even told us that we were really good at staying out of the way and stuff....
ABOVE is a picture of the almost complete main studio of the show. In the office pool, there is a 2 to 1 chance someone from WILDE AND FEE will spill coffee onto the main console before Tuesday of next week.
On a serious note, we can't thank Engineer Ray, Corny and Dan V. for all of their hard work on this studio. They are good guys who will make our jobs that much easier. They work behind-the-scenes around the clock making us sound good. This new studio has taken a lot of time and is a dream come true for all of us at the station and on our show. Thanks guys! We appreciate it!!
